What moves beneath the text with Norman Taylor
Exploration and Application of Lecoq's movements
We humans always move before we speak … and also before we do something. And this movement takes place in silence. If you want people to hear you, you can speak loud. If, however, you want them to listen, then you need to create silence… and it’s there!
In this workshop we are going to explore the movement fundamentals that go before and beneath the text. We will see how movement can give structure and game to text to create dynamic and impactful theatre and acting onstage.
You will learn to train your artist's eye to see the world around you and transpose what you see into your art.
Join us as we host the wonderful Norman Taylor who taught alongside Jacques Lecoq for 20 years.
