I just want to let you know what we have been up to recently.
Since the course finished we ran Manchester's first ever Clown Festival, dedicated to laughter, comedy and the ridiculous. 22 acts decended on Exchange Square Manchester in The Omnitorium for 2 days of fun and hilarity. Several course members played at the festival and others helped out with work behind the scenes. A community is being built here.
You can check out what you missed with the ful ClownFest Manchester line-up here www.clownfestmcr.com We are beginning to think about next years festival which will be bigger, better and funnier -which is a tough challenge as this years fest was hilarious.
After that team idiot set off to Edinburgh Fringe where Mark was playing with the awesome Ship of FooIs Theatre Company, 12 shows 2 cabarets, 1 compare gig, lots of laughter, lots of gasps some of the most amazing audience feedback we could hope for (and the odd hater).
We learned so much about the lightness and playing of the show plus, even if I do say so myself we had the best flyering strategy up ad down the George Square approach.
You caan have a look at Ship of Fools Facebook here... https://www.facebook.com/ashipoffools/ which includes tour dates for the show playing in November and December .
Come and see us play It will be fun.
